IPad Listing on eBay

I list almost 100%  of my listings either on my IPad4, IPad Mini or My IPhone.  I know Geek…  I want to tell you that the eBay Mobile team listens.  They are marvelous about getting back to users of the Apps with issues and answer questions quickly

I will be doing some videos in the future on listing with each app.  Stay tuned.

I have so many MINOR issues of wants that I request from the Mobile team but I really would like to have store Categories.

I would love to hear what your concerns are with eBay Mobile.

There seems to be a bug with Buyer Requirements. When I post with my phone or Ipad my saved buyer requirements from the website do not get applied to my items. Also you are not given the option to manage your store categories. I think they still have some work to do so you do not have to rely on the desktop version of the website.

    Gregg, you are correct about not having store categories. It is the ONE thing I have begged for on eBay mobile since I started using the devices to list. One way I fix that currently is that I list a number of items from one category in my store the I do a bulk edit on my IMac and it takes me about a minute or two. I have a message into Jonathan about the buyer requirements and will get back to you on this asap.

Thanks Cindy. I have another observation while listing tonight on Iphone. When entering in Item Specifics: Lets say I enter in a Brand Name and a Color as a example. If I go into any other field such as Size and determine I want to back out of this field without adding info, I am forced to hit cancel. Doing this erases all of the previous information that I had already put in. Hope that makes sense.

I got 2 more for you! The first regards the “X” delete button. I have accidentally erased my info multiple times in various places. Being the iPhone is so small it makes it too easy to make these errors. Today I did it when trying to edit the description. The “X” was right next to the word I was trying to edit and BAM! it was all gone. Suggest maybe having a some kind of warning come up when you hit the “X” to confirm you actually want to delete. This also happens a lot when creating my title. Second issue involved international shipping. I have been doing all flat rate shipping. I have been doing 1 charge for Canada and 1 charge for worldwide. If I chose a shipping method for Canada that same shipping method disappears when I try to select the same type of shipping method. So if I chose Priority Padded Envelope for my Canada Price, I cannot chose Priority Padded for Worldwide. I need to go into my laptop to make the adjustment. Thanks for passing any info on as always!

    Gregg,
    I will address both of these questions you have. I have sent your message to Jonathan about the having a warning to delete. BRILLIANT idea. My husband has this issue when he lists and he hates it. For the time being if you have an ipad, load the iphone app onto the ipad and use it there (I prefer the IPhone eBay app over the Ipad app currently because it is more advanced) If not, your recommendation has been sent to the right team.

    The issue with Canada and worldwide has been an ongoing request for eBay Mobile for some time. We would love to have two options for first class (Canada and Worldwide since there is such a large difference in shipping costs). I was told that is is in the works and will be available in the near future.

    Keep those questions coming.
